Masta belt pouch: Full test and review

It’s good, it’s 2022, and the banana bag will come back in fashion…

But anyway, we don’t care because the HPA Masta Pouch is much more than a fanny pack!

The principle of this pocket is far from revolutionary, a pocket mounted on a removable belt that allows you to wear a lot of stuff on your waist.

However, the materials, design and workmanship piqued my curiosity…

Focus on the Masta Pouch

Masta Pouch, already the name sounds good, it looks like a West Coast rapper.

The first thing that jumps out at you is the quality of the materials.

This is important for this type of equipment because it will be subject to friction.

It is PU coated for added resistance to precipitation.

This bag has many compartments, I stopped counting at 9.

The main one is big enough to hold a reflex camera with a lens, or 3 nice trouts, or a brick and a half, or a Moulinex fresh express if you insist (tested and approved).

It is ideal for organizing your EDC or an extra carrier for a specific activity, such as fishing for example.

Note, it is impossible to house a 15-inch computer, nor the complete collection of Bernard Levy’s books (even in the pocket edition).

The Masta Pouch is equipped with 4 male MOLLE tabs and 2 sets of 4 loops.

Everything is secured by press studs with a nice restraint. The whole MOLLE system hides a small pocket.

It is also thanks to this device that the Masta is installed on the belt.
